I've been riding my bike out to HGB the last few days, enjoying the morning run. I've met some very cool people whom I never would have guessed rode motorcycles. There was a 70 year old lady who seemed pretty proud of her Harley Davidson Wideglide. I never would have guessed. There was another gentleman who rode a Honda goldwing and was wearing a Blessing of the Bikes tshirt. I plan to attend that next year. They have one in Hell, MI. Being able to discuss things like riding motorcycles with patients is very therapeutic. It puts them at ease, making what I have to do to them that much easier.
I only wish my gas tank were bigger. Having to fill up every hundred miles or so is a real pain. Then again, I suppose I could just run out of gas then push the thing to the gas station.
I think my plans for a road trip are out for this year. Money is a little tight, even though I am picking up extra... grr. Anyhow, nothing to be done about that.
I talked with VK today and he is still having trouble with his virago. I know he'll get it sorted out soon. I am going to help him out with tuning his bike in the next few days, using the color and carb tune.
Good times.
